There are some ways you can promote your campaign before it’s live to accept donations.

First, it’s great to share “watch this space” type messaging that will prep your followers to watch for a link where they can donate. You can share the short link for any of your campaigns in advance of your campaign’s launch using the link available in the share box of your campaign preview page, but use discretion: if the platform you are publishing on is in test mode and people have the short link, they may be able to complete donations ahead of your launch date.

Your best strategic bet is to use your messaging to emphasize when your campaign will go live, and drive donors to contribute as early as possible.
